7. App Features and Usage
7.1 Starting the Showroom
Once you’ve uploaded and organized your content, you can launch the showroom:
Open the Spatial Player Pro app.
From the main dashboard, select the folder containing your prepared content.
Tap Open Showroom to load the content. The background and icons will automatically be displayed in the immersive space based on the number of videos in the folder.
The app will position the icons evenly in front of the user in the immersive space linked to the specified videos.
7.2 Video Playback
To play a video, focus on an icon with your gaze and select it.
The video will begin playing, and once it ends, you will automatically return to the showroom.
7.3 Controlling Orientation with Digital Crown
You can change the viewing orientation by holding down the Digital Crown and moving your head or eyes.
This allows you to center the showroom on your preferred direction, making recentering the 360° environment intuitive.
7.4 Guest Mode for Presentations
Spatial Player Pro is designed for smooth presentations where the user has limited control over the playback. The main use-case for the app is to make it as easy as possible to show others your awesome content.
To activate Guest Mode, the admin can access the Control Center and toggle Guest Mode. This allows the VR headset to be handed to a guest for viewing the content. Be sure to open the showroom first, so the user directly spawns in your branded immersive environment.
Guests will need to complete eye and hand-tracking setup before entering the showroom. If you have experience with other Headsets with no Guest Mode setup you may see this as an unnecessary step. We are seeing a major opportunity here, because for the first time the user is teached how to interact with the device which is a great onboarding feature and will make the experience great.
Each time a new guest uses the headset, the admin must restart Guest Mode to maintain the secure, controlled environment.

9. Troubleshooting and FAQs
9.1 Common Issues and Solutions
Here are some common issues users might encounter and how to resolve them:
Videos not playing:
Ensure the video is encoded in a supported format. Refer to the video encoding here for details on proper encoding methods.
Icons not appearing:
Verify that the icons are named correctly and match the video filenames. Ensure they are in the correct PNG format with transparent backgrounds.
Background not loading:
Make sure the background image is named correctly (
background.png
orbackground.jpg
) and does not exceed 16K (15360x7680) resolution.
Guest Mode not working:
Double-check that Guest Mode is activated in the Control Center before handing the headset to a guest. Ensure that the headset is set up correctly for eye and hand-tracking.
Apple Vision Pro recognize me as a guest:
Make sure that the actual headset is configured with you and your Apple ID. Remember Apple Vision Pro only knows the Apple ID owner as “Admin”. For roadshows we recommend one dedicated person per headset as admin and usage.
